Jelly Mask Review

I recently purchased a tub of the Annie's Way Arbutin + Hyaluronic Acid Brightening Jelly Mask (Whew. What a mouthful!) and I shall be giving my honest opinion about it.

I ordered it online on Ebay as there were no sellers here in the Philippines and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast the shipping of the item was! I placed an order on this seller: Dazzling Diva, on July 9 and after they processed the payment, they shipped it right away! The item arrived in the Philippines on July 12 but because the postal system here is quite bad, I wasn't able to get it until recently.

First off! Packaging!

I like how simple the tub looks like. Not over or under decorated. Just right. For those of you who might be worried as to the validity of the item, there was this sticker-seal at the side of the tub with a silver butterfly on it. Once peeled, and I am really amazed by it, the word "VOID" is left on the body of the item.

I then opened the lid and saw that it was perfectly sealed.

It also came with a spatula which I think is sooo cute!!! That little pink butterfly just sold me. :P

I scooped a decent amount of product using the spatula and spread it all over my face. It had a very faint smell... But it wasn't foul or anything. I waited for about 30 minutes and rinsed the mask off. After doing so, I noticed that my face was a lot more moisturised and happy (?). HAHA. I don't know how to describe it. It was like my face drank a TON of water and got revived after a long day.

As I have just used this product once, I cannot comment much on the whitening part because I don't think I got lighter.

Overall verdict: I like this product as it does moisturise the skin. One thing you should know about my face is that it is very oily and I have very sensitive skin so I am picky with the products I use. So far, this hasn't made my skin react in any way. I also noticed that my blackheads have become softer that a mere scratch would take them out and seeing as I have a lot, I think this mask will help me get rid of them once and for all (hopefully). I bought this product when it went on sale at $18.49 which is roughly P830.00 (RP) and had to pay P50.00 for taxes at my post office. I think that the price is O.K. since the tub is quite big (250mL) and I don't think it'll be running out fast as a little can go a long way.

Hope this helped! Don't forget to leave a comment!
